The use of cigarettes causes economic problems to the households since the prices are high and most of the citizens are below the poverty line. Research shows that poor ci tizens use up to twenty five percent of their total income on cigarettes, instead of contributing to family development. As a result, its use should be banned in the United States. The government should find the most reliable way of stopping the drug in the country. It should first start by giving a ban on its use in public places such as restaurants to reduce the premature death of passive smokers. However, stopping people from smoking on the other hand might not be that easy as it will be violating their conjugal rights as citizens (a habit which they should not be deprived of).
